This year, one of my New Year’s resolution goals was to read more books. I have always loved to read, and having recently finished my master’s program, I wanted to read more for pleasure. In academia, reading becomes a tedious burden as it can be tiresome to try to decipher the jargon that scholars use in their field. This year has been my return to reading, and at the time of writing this, I am more than halfway to my reading goal of twenty, with my current log being at twelve.
