This circuit is a DCC (model rail) controller combined with a Railcom detector circuit. The reference circuit for the detector is published by the NRMA under document S-9.3.2. this circuit uses an LM393.

This is doable and I have already done it with different components. I have used STM32F407. STM32H7 were not yet available at the time I did this. You don't need any additional interface. You don't need a buffer. STM32 MCUs can interface directly with high speed ADCs running at max sampling rate. I would not even go with USB. I would use a touch screen LCD-TFT. With TouchGFX you can create a beautiful colour handheld oscilloscope.

Is there a poe add on to esp/at32/arduino/other, such that you stick the two on the end of a cat5/6 poe line and then have an ip you can query for n sensor data? Thinking sensor only, so low power signal only, no motorized / heating or anything. Have googled this plenty, quite a few 'nearlies'. Some things will have network stack, but need local power. Some will provide power, but seem to really be 'no comment' about network signal.

Hello!I'm currently working on automating my house by connecting everything to my Mac HomeKit system. The next piece of equipment I'm tackling is my air exchange unit (HRV). Right now, I’ve got it partially automated by connecting a standard 10-amp Wi-Fi-controllable switch to it. I also turned the mechanical humidity controller to its maximum setting. Now, whenever I turn on the Wi-Fi switch using my phone, it powers up the HRV. Step 1 is complete.

I have an existing PCB with two 25x2 connectors, 0.1 spacing. Typically I insert an IDC connector here. For my present application I want to use a small adapter PCB into this space. I could use something like a 50 pin stacking connector, but very few are available, and none from the distributors I normally use. Anyone have a suggestion?

Hi, i am designing a motor driver, and i met a problem when it comes to verify the high side mosfets Vgs output, i gave a square wave with 50% duty cycle and 25khz signal, and this is the waveform of Vgs looks like, i could not figure what the issue is, i tried to measure the voltage between bootstrap caps, and the voltage is 14V which is close to the VCC for gate driver i gave, it is fine, however for the low side mosfets the vgs ouput results is right, so i am not sure what is the problem...

I have the TI power board (inverter) and I connect it to the 48V power supply. I do it like this:I turn on the power supply (it doesn't have an on/off.. since I turn it on it delivers the supply), then I insert the positive (red) and finally the negative (gnd) which obviously closes the circuit. It's already the second time that, as soon as the negative touches the power supply connector, I see a spark and hear a small bang when I connect the black wire (gnd) to the power supply.

I have search the archives here for help but I can't quite find the solution that I am after; please may you help me? I have a small low power, battery powered circuit that I would like to switch on and off with a momentary switch, which enables a latching relay to provide power to the circuit. The same momentary switch would also turn off the circuit. There is a micro processor on board for various other functions but I would also like to have an auto shut down feature by using a micro.

It's real hard to tell what you are saying. What do you mean that you have it "in your hand"? As a loose part? As part of some PCB assembly? If you don't have the data sheet, how are you trying to write something onto it? What do you mean that you can't find anything? How are you looking? The part is an Atmel AT25128B 128 Kbit SPI Serial EEPROM (manufactured in the 5th week of 2019), possibly in the Philippines.
