Reports have suggested that David Beckham is to receive a Knighthood at the King's Birthday Honours. The former England captain, who was previously awarded an OBE in 2003, is set to be named on the list which is to be released next week, according to reports in The Sun. Backham who has enjoyed a stellar career in football, earned 115 caps for England, playing in three World Cups, and won domestic trophies in England and Spain in his career.

The acting programme at Trinity College which has been credited with launching the career of Paul Mescal, has shown a record number of applicants for this year's course, with 600 students applying for the 16 place programme. This was confirmed by the Lir Academy, with 600 applicants applying for the prestigious Bachelor in Acting course, a 10% increase from last year.

Take That have announced the release of a 30th anniversary edition of their studio album, 'Nobody Else'. To mark this occasion, the band who first confirmed plans to re-release this album in April, have released this album on vinyl collectors for the first time, with a special format release available here. The special edition is available as a 2LP Deluxe edition, and the 2CD format.
