Vampire Weekend covered Tame Impala, Phoenix and TV On The Radio during their headline set at Just Like Heaven over the weekend. The band have recently been taking requests from the crowd for snippets of covers during their shows. Over the weekend, Ezra Koenig dedicated a portion of the show towards the end of their set at The Rose Bowl in Pasadena as a “salute to indie” and proceeded to perform a brief series of covers by bands handpicked by the frontman.
