Jay Clarke has been rebuilding his form on the ITF Tour over the last few months, posting a 3-2 record in finals since March (31-5 win/loss overall). That gave him enough fire to post his first deep run at a Challenger since 2022 as he swiftly took apart Skopje defending champion Joel Schwaerzler in the quarterfinals. In the final four he had an even tougher challenge against World No. 96 Hugo Dellien, who was outranking the entire field by about 150 spots.

Challenger Tour match of the week poll (Francavilla al Mare, Prague, Santos, Wuxi) One of the rare times a two-set match definitely had to be included within these options and I wouldn't even be surprised if it wins. What's your call, did I miss something important this week?

Alvaro Guillén Meza wins his 3rd Challenger title, beating Matheus Pucinelli de Almeida 6-3 7-6(12) in Santos. 3rd year in a row with a title. Handled the indoor switch despite issues to finish off SF and F, overcomes a 0-3 H2H vs Matheus, who looked beat up but still had 6 SPs.

Tallon Griekspoor is on a 30-match win streak in Challengers after winning five titles in a row in 2021 and then defending his Amersfoort crown in 2022. Hasn't played at this level since.
