There has been some criticism towards Sony this console generation for releasing too many remakes and remasters for the PS5. This trend is quite true because we've already received remakes and remasters for The Last of Us Part 1 and 2, Horizon Zero Dawn, and PS5 versions of Death Stranding and Ghost of Tsushima. Well it looks like the re-releases keep on coming because Sony has released Days Gone Remastered for the PS5 in 2025.

Last year, Bethesda and MachineGames released Indiana Jones and the Great Circle on both PC and Xbox platforms. At the time of the game's release, people thought it would have stayed as an Xbox exclusive because Microsoft owns Bethesda and all of its IPs. This is part of Microsoft's new strategy to try and release its video game library for more gamers.

It wasn't too long ago that FutureFive NZ reviewed a new point-and-click game on the Nintendo Switch called Omega 6 The Triangle Stars. Funnily enough, now an even newer point-and-click game has come our way, and this one is called Amerzone – The Explorer's Legacy. As I said previously in my review of Omega 6 The Triangle Stars, the point-and-click genre was popular back in the '90s because video game technology was more simplistic back then.

The mid-'90s was an interesting time in gaming because it ushered in the first game consoles that had fully 3D graphics. It was a revolutionary time in gaming because 3D was the future of gaming. Even though the PSOne console came out on top with its 3D graphics and CD audio sound, people seem to forget that the Sega Saturn was also released at the same time. While the Sega Saturn wasn't as popular as Sony's console, one thing it did better was running 2D video games.
