There was some minor criticism about the launch lineup for the Switch 2, which only featured one new exclusive video game. That game, of course, was Mario Kart World. The rest of the games at launch were ports of older video games. However, one game that could be considered new for many is Bravely Default Flying Fairy HD Remaster. Unlike some people, I never had a chance to play the original version of this game because it was stuck on the Nintendo 3DS.

The '90s was an interesting time in gaming because we received a ton of cartoonish platform games with unique mascots. Nintendo released the likes of Super Mario 64, Donkey Kong 64, Banjo Kazooie, and even the R-rated Conker's Bad Fur Day! Earlier in that decade, Sega won over many new fans by creating Sonic the Hedgehog. PlayStation even had the excellent Crash Bandicoot and Spyro the Dragon video games near the end of the '90s too.

FutureFive NZ was given numerous Nintendo Switch 2 game titles to review. Unfortunately, we were unable to thoroughly review all of them in a short amount of time. However, this article will tell our readers what Sega has in store for the Switch 2 at launch. The three games that we were given were Sonic X Shadow Generations, Yakuza 0 Director's Cut, and Puyo Puyo Tetris 2S. Sonic X Shadow Generations Sonic Generations was first released in 2011 for the PS3, Xbox 360, and 3DS.

I'm old enough to remember a time when game consoles launched, and they came with free demo discs. The first home console my family bought was the original PlayStation in 1997, and it came with a disc called 'Demo 1'. The disc featured demos for the likes of Crash Bandicoot, Destruction Derby, and many more. In more recent years, the Nintendo Wii came packed with Wii Sports as a free game, while Astro's Playroom was a free download for all PS5 owners at launch.
