The 6-foot, 175-pound guard averaged 16.9 points while shooting 38.6% on 8.4 3s per game. He added 2.3 assists in 30 minutes per game. Holiman scored at least 20 points in two of his final three games last season with a stretch of five 20-plus point performances in six games not long before that end-of-season stretch.

The spring transfer portal window officially opened on Wednesday, and head coach Kenny Dillingham said the way ASU handles it will be dictated in part by the House v. NCAA case that is now before a federal judge for a final decision. The case is a $2.8 billion antitrust settlement that pays money back to previous college athletes while setting up those in the future to be paid directly by their respective schools.

Arizona State football started to see its first departures in the spring transfer portal on Tuesday. The spring window is officially open April 16-25, though dozens of players from across the country had begun announcing their plans to enter over the weeks leading up, most notably Tennessee star quarterback Nico Iamaleava. Head coach Kenny Dillingham on Monday said he’s not worried about portal departures, pointing out he’s not running a hostage situation.
