PHOENIX — A man was hospitalized from a shooting early Sunday morning and no suspect has been identified yet, according to the Phoenix Police Department. Officers located the victim at 2725 N. Black Canyon Access Road shortly after 5 a.m., where he was suffering from “at least one gunshot wound,” authorities said. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

PHOENIX — A driver was shot early Sunday morning in an apparent road rage incident in Goodyear, according to the Department of Public Safety. The shooting occurred on westbound Interstate 10 west of the Estrella Parkway exit at 4:04 a.m., DPS said. The suspected shooter in one vehicle fired multiple rounds at the other vehicle. The victim was hit in the leg, suffering injuries that weren’t expected to threaten their life. No other information was made available. An investigation is ongoing.

PHOENIX — A 37-year-old Mexican man was sentenced to 10 years in prison on Tuesday for his connection to a drug distribution scheme and his own reentry into the U.S. after he had been removed in 2019.
