New signing Teddy Sharman-Lowe (Image: Wanderers) Teddy Sharman-Lowe hopes he can replicate James Trafford’s impressive spell at Wanderers after joining on a season-long loan from Chelsea. Trafford went from strength to strength during his 18 months with the Whites and his performances in League One earned a call up to the England Under-21 squad. Now at Burnley, the 22-year-old has broken into the senior squad for his country and is preparing for a return to the Premier League.

Amaechi becomes Tom Cleverley’s first signing since taking charge at Home Park, replacing Miron Muslic in the dugout. The 24-year-old had a loan spell with the Whites in 2021/22 but saw his game time limited by injuries. His only goal came in a 2-2 draw against Cheltenham at the Toughsheet Community Stadium. Amaechi has spent the past couple of seasons at Magdeburg, scoring five goals in 25 appearances for the Bundesliga 2 club last term.

Dalby’s arrival at the Toughsheet Community was confirmed last week following a productive loan spell north of the border. The forward became the Whites’ first piece of summer business and they have since added Xavier Simons, Charlie Warren and Richard Taylor to the squad as Steven Schumacher prepares for his first full season in charge. Wanderers were 11th in League One last season in terms of the number of crosses attempted during games (847), according to WhoScored.

Collins finished as Wanderers' top-scorer last season with 19 goals to his name in all competitions. The Welshman now heads to Stadium MK for an undisclosed fee as Paul Warne's side aim to climb out of League Two, linking up with former team-mate Gethin Jones. Here is what Bolton fans have been saying on social media following the announcement Gutted to lose him. Great striker in my opinion and someone I'd have based the team around. Form dropped in the last few games but very classy.

The main talking point is the new eight-second goalkeeper rule, which has been introduced in a bid to clamp down on time wasting. Goalkeepers who keep the ball in their hands or arms for more than eight seconds will be penalised with a corner to the opposition. Referees will use a clear signal while counting down the final five seconds and if a corner is awarded, it must be taken from the side where the infringement occurred.
