The Indoor Track Finals were held at the U of A Universiade Pavilion, in Edmonton, from March 16-17, 2024. Pilots Saturday results were: Men’s 3000 Metre Run Open - Lony Repetski finished 9th with a time of 10:22.64. Men’s Open Team Standings 300 Metre Dash - Gabriel Marchalek placed 9th with 39.50, and Owen Williams finished 25th with 42.05. Men’s 1000 Metre Open - Elijah Miller placed 14th with a 2:57.22 Men’s 4x200 Metre Open - Gabriel, Owen, John and Elijah with a time of 1:42.24 placed 7th.

Sports Prairie College showed well at the Running Room Grand Prix #2 held on Saturday, February 17 hosted by Red Deer Polytechnics. In the Men’s 3000 meter race it was Saulo Neves of Prairie College at 7th place with a time of 11.42.58.

It was early Friday morning when the Pilot’s bus loaded with Futsal players, coaches and equipment headed east to Pambrun, SK for league games. According to coach Vanessa Dyck, the women gave it their best, but lost both their games. Justine Librando and Nazanin Jalil were voted as All-Stars. On the Men’s side, the games were close with Millar getting the edge in both games 3-1 and 5-3.

This past weekend The Pilots Basketball team hosted Miller College, from SK, and Burman University, from Lacombe, in a three-team Round-robin PAC Tournament. Due to the league folding because of COVID-19, this was the first time since 2019 that these teams had competed against each other. On Friday afternoon Burman’s Men’s team defeated the Pilots 77-50 but the Pilots rebounded that night to fly over the Millar Edge 80-67.

This past Saturday, the Pilots XC team were at U of A - Augustana for the Running Room Grand Prix #4. The conditions were windy and the course was hilly, which slowed the runners down. On the women’s side there were 49 runners with Josie Bennett finishing 13th with a time of 28.24.
