Saka saw an attempted Panenka penalty saved by Thibaut Courtois during the first half and was confronted by Madrid defender Carvajal as he walked off the pitch. Carvajal, who was not named in Madrid's matchday squad, followed Saka toward the tunnel before grabbing him on the back of the neck and pointing in his face.

Hate to say it but that second half from #afcb was dire. City deserve credit for the tweaks and impact subs but there's no excuse for dropping off like that. Players looked lost right from the whistle. Big chance to get to Wembley wasted. Need to move on quickly now.
