Initial production data is out for April in Alberta. Alberta has reported oil, condensate, and gas; full Alberta NGL data (including pentane) and marketable gas is due out in a couple weeks. While the April data won’t be considered complete until the rest of the Alberta data has been reported, it is nonetheless worthwhile to show the data as it stands today.

The Alberta Government brought in $6.9 MM on its May 14th Crown land sale. In total, 15,368.81 hectares were sold at an average price of $451.60/ha. Click here to see the full land sale results on StackDX Intel. The largest bonus came from a 1,024 hectares (4 sections) parcel of land south of Grande Prairie and west of Fox Creek, at the western edge of the Kakwa field. This parcel went for a $3,663,647 bonus, and represented 53% of the total bonus from the May 14th landsale.
