Between administrative email leaks, a national championship basketball game and some uncertainty on the future of higher education, The Daily Campus has weathered it all. And of course, in every issue of the paper, we’ve had the Life section to add some much-needed fondness and student perspective. If there’s anything Life can be most proud of this year, it’s our writers.

SUNY Purchase has been a hotbed for musicians in recent years. Bands and artists have thrived in the college’s music scene, from talented jazz musicians to notable indie rock names like Mitski. Joining that list is Ryan Shea. Shea is a guitarist and singer-songwriter who is the lead singer and guitarist of the alternative rock band Mildly Allergic, as well as a guitarist in hardcore band Blouse.
