    Chemicals firm Chemours has tapped an Indian fluorochemicals company to make its immersion cooling fluid. Chemours this week announced a strategic agreement with Navin Fluorine to manufacture its Opteon two-phase immersion cooling fluid. The company said the collaboration is part of Chemours' expanded Liquid Cooling Venture, established to address the cooling needs data centers and AI hardware. The partnership aims to help commercialize the company’s two-phase offering, beginning in 2026.

The company recently announced its expansion into the data center and electronics market with its Zitrec EC brand. The company has traditionally been known for engine coolants and heat transfer fluids for applications such as heat pumps, air conditioning, refrigeration, and other industrial uses.

    Swedish data center firm Bahnhof is developing an underground data center in Gothenburg. The company this week announced plans for the Bunkerberget data center in central Gothenburg’s Gamlestaden. The site has been acquired from Bunkeberget AB, but terms weren’t shared. Formerly known as Bunkeberget, Bunkerberget was first blasted during World War II as a shelter for the citizens of Gothenburg.

    NTT aims to establish and list a new data center real estate investment trust on the Singapore Stock Exchange, to be seeded with six NTT-owned data centers. In its latest earnings release for the financial year ending March 2025 published this week, NTT said it aims to transfer six NTT Limited-owned data centers to a proposed Singapore real estate investment trust NTT DC REIT. The facilities will be sold for approximately 240.7 billion yen ($1.573bn).

    European operator Portus Data Centers is developing an additional facility in Munich, Germany. The company this week announced an expansion of its Munich colocation campus with the construction of an additional 5.5MW facility - Portus Data Centers Munich 2 (MUC2). The new data center will add 2,200 sqm (23,680 sq ft) of white space and increase the site’s total IT load capacity available to 7MW.
