The Hospital ISM® Report On Business® for March indicated that patient traffic can slow even as seasonal respiratory ailments remain prevalent, with economic uncertainty impacting the health-care decisions of many consumers. The Hospital PMI® registered 51 percent, down 5 percentage points compared to the previous month. A combined 23-percentage point drop in the Business Activity, New Orders and Backlog of Orders indexes exemplified the magnitude of the reduction in volumes.

In the January/February issue of Inside Supply Management®, Steve Miller, CPSM, CSCP, Chair of the Institute for Supply Management® (ISM®) Services Business Survey Committee, said the sector is on a growth trajectory — as long as there isn’t a shock to the system. “If there’s a negative shift, there isn’t a lot of cushion,” he said in the magazine’s annual economic outlook feature.

On the eve of an announcement of reciprocal duties on imported products that the Trump administration is touting as “Liberation Day,” the Manufacturing ISM® Report On Business® data for March revealed the degree that companies are already tariff weary. Wanted to research this FG after reading about this #SuperBowl, and Vince’s tweet came up. As the thread notes, video of the kick is limited. Here’s a good photo perspective; Clark could have used a sand wedge. (And for the record, Jim Turner also had a 9-yarder in SB III.) #NFL https://t.co/QugzFzKlny

The record for shortest field goal in a Super Bowl will never be broken. Mike Clark of the Dallas Cowboys kicked a 9-yard field goal to open the scoring in Super Bowl VI in which Dallas beat the Miami Dolphins 24-3.

As a student on the 1978 Bronx Zoo, I greatly respect what Ron Guidry did, despite being gassed in the postseason. But there will never be enough written on how good Pedro Martinez was in 1999 and 2000, when every deck was stacked against #MLB pitchers. Absolutely historic.
