    A pilot died after two vintage era military planes collided and crashed Sunday in California, the Los Angeles County Fire Department said. The two planes, a Yakovlev Yak 52 and Nanchang CJ-6A, were flown by one pilot each and had no passengers when they collided mid-air at approximately 1:20 p.m., according to NBC4. The aircraft crash-landed 15 minutes away from each other. One of the pilots died due to the incident, according to officials.

    Video captured the moment a hiker in China slipped and skidded down the side of a steep mountain Monday, WKRC reported. The video, shared widely on social media, shows 42-year-old Yang Meng hiking in the Fanzengjian Mountains in eastern China’s Anhui province, according to WKRC. Meng was carrying a 360-degree camera that captured the fall in a dramatic close-up view as he skidded down a slippery, rain-soaked slope before slamming into a tree, WKRC reported.
