FITCHBURG (WKOW) -- The Fitchburg Police Department responded to a disturbance in the parking lot of Monkeyshines Bar and Grill around 1 a.m. Tuesday. Officers found the scene cleared but were notified that a man with life-threatening stab wounds had recently arrived at a nearby hospital. Investigators believe those involved knew each other before the incident. The stabbing is under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call the Fitchburg Police Department at 608-270-4300.
