A weak cold front will stall over southern Wisconsin this morning before turning back north as a warm front later this afternoon. Later showers and storms will pop up along this boundary. Some stronger storms with brief heavy rain and hail are possible. Wednesday brings more widespread showers and temperatures in the upper 70s. By Thursday, sunnier skies will return. High temperatures steadily climb into the weekend, with highs in the 90s by Saturday and Sunday.

Temperatures will climb to the middle 80s today while dew points hover in the middle 60s. Though today's severe threat is low, a few thunderstorms could bring gusty winds or brief heavy downpours. Overnight, more showers and thunderstorms will move through, especially to the northwest.

Expect mostly sunny skies with high temperatures in the middle to upper 70s. Wildfire smoke will still drift in, making sunset a little hazy, but air quality impacts should be minimal. Tonight will be quiet and clear, and Wednesday will bring more sunshine with high temperatures in the middle 80s ahead of our next weather maker.
