New-age aficionado Summer (Dana Kippel) is having a rough time, haunted by dreams, seeking the meaning of life and questioning her relationship to her diffident boyfriend. She is presented with an interesting opportunity: The Game of Life, a series of spiritual obstacle courses in the vortex-ridden desert of Sedona, California. People who complete the course receive a cash prize. She convinces her four friends to join her on the journey, and they undertake the course, each with her own motivations.
