Primary care nurses have historically played critical roles in immunisation, including vaccine administration and patient education. Nurses promote vaccine adherence during public health emergencies by leveraging patient trust to combat vaccine hesitancy. During the COVID-19 pandemic, primary care nurses were integral to the wider vaccination effort, yet their specific activities in primary care remain underreported.
