SHREVEPORT -- Every game is a new opportunity to make history for LSUS baseball. With a record of 40-0, the Pilots continue to have the best start in NAIA history. The Pilots set the record of 38-0 taking down the University of the Southwest on Friday. Two more convincing wins against the Mustangs continued the program's dominance in 2025. While the Pilots have bigger goals beyond going undefeated, head coach Brad Neffendorf said doing something that's never been done is still a great achievement.

SHREVEPORT -- Part of becoming a team is overcoming challenges together. Shreveport Rouxgaroux offensive lineman Chase Baker says the team learned plenty from their loss to start the regular season against National Arena League defending champs, Omaha. I feel like the game had a lot of mistakes.

SHREVEPORT, La. -- For the first time since 2012, LSUS baseball is ranked No. 1 in NAIA. Head coach Brad Neffendorf says that's just one metric they measure success. "Nah, it's good. I mean, it's obviously one of those things that it can't be a distraction, can't be in the way of what we're trying to do, but I think our guys have done a really good job of maintaining what we're doing each day. And, you know, you never hear them talk about it or anything," Neffendorf said.

NEW ORLEANS -- On Jan. 13, 2020, LSU capped off the greatest season in college football history. Five years removed from lifting the trophy in New Orleans, the Tigers remain one the best teams in the sport. The year 2019 was the third full season for Ed Orgeron after officially being named the head coach late in 2016. It was year two for Joe Burrow after his transfer from Ohio State.
