Square Enix announced that a Final Fantasy XIV ear cuff earring modeled after the accessories that siblings Alisaie and Alphinaud wear in the game and expansions up through FFXIV Dawntrail is now available to pre-order in Japan. The ear cuff costs 39,600 yen (or about $272.40), and it is expected to release in Japan on January 31, 2026. The release of this accessory is a collaboration between Square Enix and custom-made jewelry brand K.UNO.

In a recent interview with the development team of Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles and some staff members of the original 1997 title, the director of the remaster, Kazutoyo Maehiro, said that the game has been in development since 2018. [Thanks, Famitsu!] As part of the talk, the interviewer asked how did this upcoming definitive edition of Final Fantasy Tactics came to be, 28 years after the original game and 18 years after the War of the Lions PSP port.

Mister Donut announced that new donuts inspired by Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse will go on sale in Japan starting from early July 2025. Additionally, Mister Donut’s original donut flavors will feature packaging inspired by Disney characters and motifs. The collaboration will be available in all Mister Donut stores in Japan, as well as via the misdo net order mobile app. So far, Mister Donut has only revealed the key art for the promotion, as well as the Mickey Mouse donut and its packaging.

Square Enix announced the re-release in Japan of the FFVII Remake Static Arts figure of Cloud Strife. Pre-orders are open on the Japanese Square Enix online e-store, where it costs 19,580 yen (or approximately $135,82.) The release date is set for November 8, 2025. Meanwhile, the figure is still available in the North American and European Square Enix online storefronts, where it costs $189.99/€169.99.

Good Smile Company shared the winner for the Rainwear category of the Hatsune Miku Illustration Contest. The winner for each category will have their illustration turned into a figure, and will also receive a money prize of 2 million yen (or about $13.795.) The winner for the Rainwear category was Japanese artist Saine (or @sainexxx on X.) At the time of writing, there is no information on when the figure will appear.
