The New England Patriots are in an uncomfortable spot in this year's NFL Draft. They hold the No. 4 pick, which could put them out of play for the two best players in the class: Penn State's pass rusher Abdul Carter and Colorado's wide receiver/cornerback Travis Hunter. If Carter and Hunter are gone before New England picks, they should try to draft someone who will help protect young quarterback Drake Maye.

The Dallas Cowboys went all out this offseason in adding running backs to a room that needed a lot of help. Dallas signed running backs Javonte Williams and Miles Sanders, but they lost last year's starting running back Rico Dowdle, who signed with the Carolina Panthers. Even though Dallas added two running backs this offseason, both aren't locked into long-term contracts, so the Cowboys could attack the position in the draft.

The San Francisco 49ers have one of the best running backs in the NFL, Christian McCaffrey. McCaffrey has been the heart and soul of the 49ers' offense since he was traded to the team in the middle of the 2022 season. When McCaffrey is on the field, the team wins games with a 23-8 record. However, last year, the 28-year-old running back only appeared in four games due to injuries, and the 49ers finished with a 6-11 record.

Kansas City had two first-round picks in 2022 due to trading wide receiver Tyreek Hill to the Miami Dolphins. McDuffie and Karlaftis have played a significant role on the team, appearing in three Super Bowls and winning two.

The New England Patriots are going all out this offseason to find playmakers to put around quarterback Drake Maye. New England signed free-agent wide receiver Stefon Diggs to a three-year contract at the end of March, and now the team needs to add a nice rookie wide receiver. The Patriots have the No. 4 pick in this year's draft, and there is a good chance they will take an offensive player with that selection.
