    Welsh stand-up comedian Kiri Pritchard-McLean is used to playing to thousands of people, but a gig to an audience of three social workers in a council office was her most nerve-wracking show to date. The 38-year-old became a foster parent about three years ago, and needed permission from the local authority to turn her experiences into a live show. "I was thinking: 'I hope they let me do this. Otherwise, I'm going to have to write something I don't care about,'" Pritchard-McLean says.
