Volunteering is widely seen as an act of kindness, something that people do out of the goodness of their hearts for the benefit of others. And for good reason! At its core, volunteering is something we do willingly and without an expectation of reward. Often motivated by intrinsic reasons such as personal conviction, curiosity, or a desire to help others, volunteers contribute numerous hours to bettering our communities in a variety of ways.

Upon the start of a new school year, Osgoode Hall sees its previous cohort of once bare-faced and impressionable 1Ls return as freshly minted 2Ls. What a milestone! Each one of these three hundred or so law students can confidently say that they managed to navigate the complexities of contracts and the capricious nature of the Canadian Constitution.

Nathan et al.1 describe the European approach to diagnosing chILD, including descriptions of the most likely disease based on clinical histories, histopathology findings, radiographic findings, bronchoalveolar lavage results, genetic testing, and other “biological investigations” (i.e., lab testing).
