As I bit down, my taste buds recognized the similarity immediately. Was it the exact same thing? No, but it was pretty darn close. Plant-based meats have received growing praise in the US, particularly due to their role as sustainable, ethical, and tasty alternatives to meat consumption.

    INTRODUCTION Both systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) itself and the use of some immunosuppressants may impact the risk of COVID-19 (1-3). In particular, corticosteroids and B cell–depleting biologics such as rituximab impair vaccine response (4-6). SLE increases the risk of severe COVID-19 (hospitalization, intensive care unit stay, or intubation) both before and after vaccination (7).

    I was in the classroom teaching media law when Justice Besanko delivered judgment in the defamation case brought by Ben Roberts-Smith. Our class was entitled Freedom of Speech in Australia. But could a philosophical examination of freedom of speech and its place in the Australian media law landscape connect with what promised to be the most consequential media law case of recent times? We began the discussion with truth – a traditional rationale for protecting free speech.
