Boonsboro graduate Rachel Roupe hit a three-run homer to help Liberty upset No. 1 Texas A&M in the NCAA softball regionals. Roupe earned Conference USA Player of the Year honors and has been named to two All-American teams. Liberty University, led by Roupe, reached the Super Regionals for the first time in program history. Roupe will continue her career playing professional softball for the Florida Vibe.

Boonsboro's Hunter Liao became the first four-time MPSSAA boys singles state champion, finishing his high school career with a 68-0 record. Smithsburg's Atlee Hilliard won the first tennis state championship in Leopards program history, defeating Friendly's Laylah Webb in the 1A girls singles final. Boonsboro's Larissa Blair and Breann Reed took third place in the 1A girls doubles tournament.

Smithsburg's girls won two gold medals in relay races at the MPSSAA state track & field championships. The Leopards' 4x800 team of Grace Ellis, Erin Gentzel, Ella Fisher, and Kayla Hawbecker set a school record while earning gold. Smithsburg's 4x200 team of Lilian Hade, Taylor King, Jenna Howe and Alaina Pate also won gold. Smithsburg leads the 1A girls team standings after the first day of competition.
