We’ve made it to arguably one of the best racing days of the year! The Sunday before Memorial Day always delivers plenty of action for fans of motorsports. We kick it off with F1’s Monaco Grand Prix in the morning. After that we head to Indianapolis for the Indy 500 and then at night we get the longest race of the NASCAR season in terms of mileage, the Coca Cola 600. Overall, between all three races we get over 1,200 miles of racing. Hopefully this year isn’t as much of a disappointment.

The NASCAR Cup Series goes from arguably its worst track, to one of the best. If I had my choice, Kansas Speedway would host the NASCAR Cup Series Championship every November. The problem with that? Well, this isn’t exactly a “destination” city. But to that point, NASCAR did announce that Championship weekend will once again be returning to Homestead-Miami in 2026! We only need to endure just one more year of Phoenix! But for this weekend, we do get some great racing.

The NASCAR Cup Series is back following a rather tame race in Talladega last weekend. Sure, there was a modest wreck around lap 40-45 last week with some drivers trying to make it to pit road as others stayed on the track. But other than that, it was a quiet Talladega race that saw Austin Cindric secure his third career win. Now NASCAR goes to Texas Motor Speedway. This is largely regarded as one of the worst tracks on the NASCAR schedule.

The NASCAR Cup Series is back following the annual week off for Easter and they’re going right back into the fire with high-speed drafting at Talladega Superspeedway. The racing in person is as exciting as it can be. The margin for error is razor thin and we’re sure to see some carnage and big wrecks on Sunday. This type of race is difficult to predict/project for daily fantasy sports contests on DraftKings and FanDuel.

The NASCAR Cup Series heads to Bristol Motor Speedway for another short track for the second time in three weeks! However, this track is a bit of a departure from Martinsville. Whereas the previous half-mile track is relatively flat, Bristol is known as the Last Great Coliseum with its higher speeds and banking compared to Martinsville. The overall NASCAR DFS strategy is still similar to Martinsville, but we don’t view it as a comparable track.
