    The Federal Trade Commission has issued a long-anticipated final Rule on Unfair or Deceptive Fees (theRule), colloquially known as the "Junk Fees" Rule,targeting mandatory hidden fees and ensuring transparent pricingdisclosures in ticket sales and hotel rentals. By its terms, theRule will take effect 120 days after its publication in the FederalRegister, which has yet to occur as of this writing. The final Rule is significantly narrower than when it wasoriginally proposed.
