Recently I’ve been involved in several conversations about change;Is change constant? Is there too much change? Is it the wrong change? Why change? Change comes in many forms, maybe it’s a personnel change team, process changes, or new technology. Regardless of the change, it can be unsettling and so I thought I might collate and share some thoughts on the matter. As a leader, whose role is expected to deliver change, what can we do to support teams and individuals through periods of change?

‘How Big Things Get Done’ by Bent Flyvbjerg and Dan Gardner, this book was recommended to me earlier this month to support my work in shaping how we achieve our company goals and deliver to our customer's needs. The subject matter of breaking down big ambitious pieces of work to deliver them, and how we report on these, has been a big part of my career over the last few years and I'm always eager to read new perspectives on the topic.

Hi, I’m Daniel. I’m a Leader and Manager of product-engineering teams, once upon a time I was a QA, and I podcasted, wrote & spoke at conferences on my experiences. Then I stopped writing and talking, I’m not quite sure why, I guess my role changed and I got busy and lost the confidence in my voice.
