1. IntroductionAccording to estimates by the Brazilian Institute of Applied Economic Research (IPEA), Brazil generates around 160,000 tons of urban solid waste per day, of which approximately 30% to 40% is considered recyclable. However, only 13% of this waste is sent for recycling. It can be seen that, due to the large volume of urban centers, planning, developing, and experiencing the various social and technological infrastructures of the city are increasingly complex [1].

Man kann es im Grunde nur so sagen: Das heutige Wunstorf ist ein Kunstgebilde. Wie allerdings hunderte andere niedersächsische Städte auch. In den 1970er Jahren wurde die Landkarte in Niedersachsen großteils neu geschrieben, und auch für Wunstorf änderten sich damals die Grenzen. Wäre es auch anders denkbar gewesen? Hätte die Stadt selbst in eine andere Kommune eingemeindet werden können?
