    Agribank has just announced it is launching an in-house life insurance product for its clients to protect clients’ financial assets and estates in the events of death, disability, dread disease or even retrenchment. The policy is underwritten by Momentum Metropolitan Namibian and comes into effect on 01 June 2024. As of 01 July, this policy will be mandatory for all eligible clients.

    Moves are afoot at Trustco Group Holdings to reduce the group’s precipitous gearing, to inject operational cash and to convert existing debt to equity, pending shareholder approval. In a notice published under the Stock Exchange News Service (SENS) on the Johannesburg Securities Exchange on Tuesday 16 January, Trustco warns shareholders to exercise caution when dealing in their shares since current ongoing negotiations may have a material impact on the group’s share price.
