1 Introduction Currently, the characterization of 2D materials, such as graphene and few-layer transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDCs), is a major focus in materials science and engineering, driven by their potential for diverse applications. These applications include high-performance energy storage,[1, 2] gas sensing,[3-5] biomedical devices,[6, 7] water purification,[8, 9] and electronic devices,[10-13] among others.
