DHT closes two time-charter contracts in the last two months, securing more coverage at higher daily rates, the VLCC major says in an update. Tanker carrier DHT Holdings has entered into a seven-year charter contract with an undisclosed global energy company for its VLCC supertanker DHT Appaloosa. The 2018-built vessel will have a fixed base rate of USD 41,000 per day, whereas excess earnings will be shared between DHT and its customer.
