Two years later, Nonnas is set to make its Netflix debut on Friday, May 9th.

local scoopExpect to see long lines around 4th + Washington Streets in Hoboken today: it’s Free Cone Day at Ben + Jerry’s. Ben + Jerry’s has been hosting its Free Cone Day since 1979 as a way to thank customers for their support. This year, the national ice cream chain is celebrating on Tuesday, April 8th, and customers can stop by for free scoops of their favorite flavors from 12PM – 8PM. Hoboken’s Ben + Jerry’s is, of course, participating in the fun.

on the blockNearly a year after her last visit to Hoboken, Jennifer Lopez has returned to the Mile Square. On Monday, April 7th, the singer, dancer, songer, and actress was in town fulfilling the last descriptor on that list, filming a new Netflix romcom called Office Romance. Film crews were spotted in downtown Hoboken, near 1st + River Streets and along the waterfront, where J Lo and co-star Bett Goldstein spent the majority of the day.
