It can be difficult to focus on Jesus Christ during the holiday season. When you walk into stores, there is so much stuff everywhere. And then there’s other “stuff” that crowds our brains: shopping for gifts, cooking, baking, plans with family–your list may be exhausting. We wanted to encourage you to take some quiet moments to focus on Jesus, and letting the truth of His rescue story fill your mind and heart with peace this Christmas.

Thank you if you brought in, sent in, or donated in any way to Socktober!! Socktober was a rounding success surpassing the goal of 10,000, a grand total of 12,772 pairs of socks have been collected for those in need!Each night in the United States, an estimated 600,000 people live on the streets. Socktober seeks to show that even a small act of love, such as donating a pair of socks, can make a big difference in the lives of our neighbors who are homeless.

They will welcome keynote speaker, Helen Smallbone. Helen is an Australian-born mother and author who pulls from her life experiences to encourage others to allow God to truly and fully lead their lives.

On Monday, September 11th, 2023 WBGL had YES DAY on-air and behind the scenes. This was the first time we have done anything like this, and we are thrilled that we were able to talk about knowing Jesus Christ and questions about the Bible, all day, on-air. Chad Bird was our special on-air guest, along with other knowledgable Pastors. We had a phone room with Pastors and Leaders taking calls, and we are so incredibly grateful to those who volunteered their time.
