I’ve been so fortunate. I’ve had cats my whole life, and dogs, too. My mom was a tremendous animal lover and she instilled in me the preciousness of these little beings. When I joined Medium a little over three months ago, I spent a large majority of my time reading and learning. I'm so glad I did. As a lifelong cat owner, I've grown pretty accustomed to finding stray spit-ups of furballs around the house. Though I've only had one cat that could be considered a long-haired feline, my short-haired kitties have been plagued from time to time. My latest cat has had 4-5 furballs in the past six months, and he may lead the brew in terms of coughing up hairballs. Judas is a bright-eyed, active, curious, strong, and energy-filled guy.
