For the first time since 2022, the NCAA Baseball Tournament is coming to Austin. Texas was revealed as the No. 2 overall seed during the NCAA's selection show on Monday. The Longhorns will host UTSA, Kansas State and Houston Christian in a regional that will get underway later this week. The winner of the Austin regional will meet either No. 15 UCLA, UC Irvine, Arizona State or Fresno State in the super regionals. This will be UT's fifth straight appearance − and 62nd overall - in an NCAA regional.
