The techno chart for this past month is nearly chopped into two pieces. One being many pieces from the Klubnacht compilation and the other is Adam Beyer’s upcoming long-player which we have represented by four of the tunes from that very album. Including, his epic collaboration with Layton Giordani that sits at the top of the chart. It’s called, “Alto” and it features a timeless sample of The Orb’s “Little Fluffy Clouds.” A downtempo classic from all the way back in 1990.

Highlights this past month in the techno universe include a couple of prominent packages that help fill up the chart. Including a trio off of the 10th edition of Ellie Acula’s SPANDAU20 that top the list. Plus, all three of the tracks from NINETOZERO’s latest. A limited series of EPs from the techno master himself, Enrico Sangiuliano. Robert Hood is here too with a solo release that he’s made purely out of his passion for minimal techno.

Unlike most of Coachella, the Do Lab curates their own unique lineup each weekend that doesn’t make its way to the official poster. Although, dance music is generally the focus of the artfully designed stage and many of the desert ravers understand that this secondary lineup is where you can find a lot of the festival’s hidden magic. Including, a scorching set between Henri Bergmann and Layla Benitez that matched the triple digit heat on Friday, April 11th.
