Officer accused of indecently assaulting woman on footbridge while off duty in early hours of February 4Published: 11:16pm, 10 Apr 2025A Hong Kong police officer has been charged with indecent assault and will appear in court on Friday. The 33-year-old was accused of indecently assaulting a 31-year-old woman on a footbridge at Fung Tak Road in Wong Tai Sin at around 2.50am on February 4. He was off duty at the time of the alleged assault.

Hong Kong police have arrested a man on suspicion of sneaking into an office of multinational insurance company AXA and spending the night there before walking away with HK$129,000 (US$16,620) in cash. The force said on Thursday it had arrested the 32-year-old the day before in Tseung Kwan O after reviewing security camera footage.

Hong Kong police have arrested six people in a crackdown on a cross-border money laundering and scam syndicate that allegedly laundered HK$290 million (US$37.4 million) over the past year. The syndicate was believed to have conducted at least 46 scams, conning victims out of over HK$13.66 million between June 2023 and January this year, according to police.
