This year’s Met Gala was centered around Black Dandyism, rooted in honoring the trailblazers who subverted sartorial expectations, and just last week, Prada opened up a dedicated men’s boutique on Fifth Avenue. That’s all to say: Signs point to me experimenting with a tie this summer (hopefully a Prada one). The house’s new two-level store will have ready-to-wear, leather goods, footwear, accessories, and some lifestyle “specialty” items.

Johnson State Park, the hottest place to be if you’re a Williamsburg resident under the age of 4. As spring blooms sway in the warm breeze and East River waves lap gently at the gravelly beach, parents tote young children by scooter, bike, and other tiny wheeled vehicles. Sol Gonzales, doe-eyed and dripped out, is there too.

Beyoncé would’ve won 2023 Album of the Year, everyone would leave Rachel Zegler alone, and the U.S. would stop deporting people without due process. If you’ve got a moral compass, it’s enough to fill you with an unending well of despair. But, sometimes, whatever higher power above takes pity on us and gives us a fleeting moment of karmic justice.
