DiscussionIn this large multihospital cohort of patients admitted with COVID-19 from March 2020 to May 2022, non-Hispanic black patients and Latinx patients did not have more in-hospital mortalities and hospital lengths-of-stay as compared with white patients. Compared with white patients, black patients had a higher prevalence of pre-existing conditions, such as obesity, diabetes and hypertension.
