Whatever is in the water in Texas (and judging by their increasingly poor environmental regulations, probably a LOT of things) the Raangers are able to find just enough, every game, to be able to get by with a W vs the Rays. For years now, the Heart of Texas Lowes that the Rangers call a stadium has been a house of horrors.

Much like life, there’s failures, you get knocked down, and when you persevere and find yourself back on your feet, it all makes each moment of success all the more sweet.

For the third time on this very road trip, Siri came through with the hero bat with a miraculous and monster HR that he and the rest of Rays fans got to watch sail into the night to swipe victory from the jaws of defeat. Rays fight to return to .500 again was not easy. They still didn’t get a hit with a runner in scoring position.

Photo by Katelyn Mulcahy/Getty Images The good from tonight’s game: The Rays offense had a few more hits, got two nice HRs from players who are going to be a part of the near future, bullpen continued to be exciting, and they made the much, MUCH better Dodgers team sweat. The bad: they ultimately got beat because Enrique Hernandez, who has not had a positive impact since he went full Barry Bonds vs the Rays in the 2021 ALDS, had a game tying 3 run HR.
