President Donald Trump's two-week timeline to decide on whether the U.S. will strike Iran's nuclear sites is a familiar one - it's one he's repeatedly used since his first term in office. "Based on the fact that there's a substantial chance of negotiations that may or may not take place with Iran in the near future, I will make my decision whether or not to go within the next two weeks," he said in a statement issued through White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt.

A federal judge Tuesday found Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier in civil contempt after he snubbed a court order in a high-profile immigration case and then boasted about it in interviews. Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, removed posts on his personal X account about Saturday's fatal attack on a Minnesota lawmaker and her husband after facing fierce backlash from Democrats about the postings. Minnesota Sen. Tina Smith, a Democrat who was friends with the slain lawmaker, told reporters on Monday that she confronted Lee about his tweet.
