Despite double-digit scoring from five Charlotte Hornets players in a game that featured no regular starters from either side, the Hornets dropped a seventh straight game on Sunday to wrap their season 2024-25 season on Sunday — winning just one of their final 13 games and ending the season with a 19-63 record.

With 52 games in the books and the trade deadline past, the Charlotte Hornets’ first season with Jeff Peterson at the helm and Charles Lee behind the bench hasn’t thus far looked much different than past iterations of the team. Well past the halfway point of the 2024-25 season, the Hornets are 13-39, having seen several players go down with injuries, some of which were season-ending variety.

With his long hair and grey beard, David French is always a recognizable presence at art fairs and festivals around Charlotte, but even more familiar are his paintings, which capture the most beloved storefronts, scenes and sights of the Queen City in French’s signature style. For nearly 20 years, French has become wildly popular for the way he captures urban landscapes in a style that we’ll call whimsical realism.

If someone were to tell you before the 2024 Carolina Panthers season that the team would finish 5-12, you would likely shrug and say “That sounds about right,” assuming it was business as usual for a franchise that hasn’t even sniffed .500 for seven years. Fresh off a 20-17 overtime win against the New York Giants in Munich, Germany, on Nov. 10, the Carolina Panthers find themselves on a two-game winning streak — a touch of momentum as the team returns stateside. Not the best time for a bye week. The Panthers now have a 3-7 record, which may not look great, but on the bright side it means Sunday’s win put them over their win total for all of last season, which they finished at 2-15.

Listening to the AK press conference for the #Bulls, aside from him being as low energy as anyone I have heard running a team, his answers show he was unprepared, has no insight into what they need, and he should be immediately replaced. He's completely incompetent!
