The school’s Spartan Manufacturing proudly hosted their second annual open house. The school program has three shops, an auto shop, a metal shop, and a wood shop. Adam Kuhlman is one of the tech teachers at Superior high. He says they are giving students the skills that local employers are looking for.

Ecolibrium3 is one of many non-profits feeling a loss in federal funds. The organization has a number of community improvement projects impacted by the cuts, including improving access to healthy food for those in Lincoln Park, an area considered a food desert. A fundraiser Friday night at Clyde Ironworks was held to raise funds for their legacy house.
