A fundraiser Thursday was held for the Damiano Center of Duluth, which helps meet the basic needs of those in our community who need it. Most of us have become accustomed to having a home to keep us warm and food to keep us fed. But there are those in our community who don’t have even their basic needs met. Thursday night the Damiano Center held an event to address that. For decades, the Damiano Center has helped provide vital services to the Duluth community.

The 2nd district race is one of two contested races out of five on the ballot. Sarah Anderson’s public bio says she is 48-years old and has lived in Superior since 2007.

Patrick Miner, President of Miner’s, Inc. says every square inch of the Virginia South store has been touched during this multi-million dollar renovation. The Miner’s family has had a grocery store in Virginia since way back in 1963. But it wasn’t a Super One back in those days. “We started with a small Piggly Wiggly store,” Patric Miner said.
