Thursday's storm threat is still conditional on the breaking of the CAP. On Friday, however, the CAP does not appear as significant in holding back storm development. The latest model updates did indicate we could see a few weak points later this evening. I think those weak points would mainly be east of I-55 and closer to Decatur, Shelbyville, Effingham, Champaign, and Mattoon. Potential storm threats for Thursday would be isolated tornadoes, large hail, and damaging winds.
