I recently discovered I was rejected from consideration for a job because of my age. The 'leading' supermarket is only searching for young workers because they are cheaper to pay. This information came from a current employee at one of those stores.

Turns out even supermarkets recruit through faceless online assessments. Companies need to go back to reading applications, CVs and speaking to people, not let some silly test decide whether someone is worth hiring.
