By Darren Rovell New Balance announced Monday its first official collection with endorser and likely No. 1 pick Cooper Flagg. One day after the actual Flag Day, the privately-held shoe and apparel maker previewed "Flagg Day" sweatshirts and T-shirts on its website, allowing fans to be notified when the gear officially goes on sale June 23. New Balance notes the collection is part of its Made in the USA initiative. The ribbed crewneck will retail for $154.99 and the T-shirt will sell for $74.99.

A Steph Curry Topps Now 1/1 autographed card sold for an almost inexplicable $518,500 on Saturday night, breaking the record for the price paid for a Topps Now card. The card came from Curry's famous "Nuit, Nuit" Olympic gold moment when the U.S. men's basketball team defeated host France on Aug. 10, 2024. Industry estimates for the card were in the $100,000 range. Topps Now sold Olympic sets in the Summer of 2024 with the 1/1 autographed chase cards randomly sent.

A fun piece of "Who Would Have Known?" history will hit the auction block next week. It's a ticket to the June 11, 1995, game between the Montreal Expos and the San Francisco Giants, and it's expected to sell in the $1,000 range. A ticket to the Expos' 10-8 victory over the Giants in 13 innings at Candlestick Park wasn't worth even a couple dollars until an enterprising collector found four tickets to the game and connected them to an interesting event that happened before the first pitch.
