Over 100 firefighters responded to a warehouse fire in West Baltimore Monday night, officials said. The five-alarm fire pushed smoke into the neighborhood and created significant delays for Amtrak and MARC trains. Fire officials did not immediately say what they thought caused the fire at the multi-story warehouse, which is near the intersection of Edmondson Avenue and N. Bentalou Street.

Police were involved in a shooting on York Road in North Baltimore, the Baltimore Police Department confirmed Monday afternoon. Officials said Commissioner Richard Worley was on the scene of a police-involved shooting in the 4600 block of York Road, which is just south of East Cold Spring Lane. Several blocks of York Road are closed, police said, and people were asked to avoid the area. Police did not provide more details about the shooting. This is a developing story.

Howard County Police are investigating a fatal wreck into a Columbia building Wednesday afternoon in what witnesses describe as a speed-related crash. A man crashed a vehicle into the office building of Humanim Inc., a nonprofit workforce development and human services organization, in the 9300 block of Gerwig Lane around noon Wednesday, officials said in a news release. Howard County Police said they do not believe the crash was an intentional act and they continue to investigate the cause.
