Sean Barber appeared to be asleep at the wheel for a brief moment during Sunday’s game. The veteran umpire Barber was behind home plate at George Steinbrenner Field in Tampa, Fla. for the series finale between the Tampa Bay Rays and the Milwaukee Brewers. In the bottom of the sixth inning though, Barber produced perhaps the worst missed strike call of the 2025 season thus far. Brewers pitcher Tyler Alexander had a 1-2 count on Rays outfielder Travis Jankowski with one out and nobody on.

Jimmy Butler is nothing if not entertaining. The Golden State Warriors star Butler went viral during Saturday’s Game 3 against the Minnesota Timberwolves. During the fourth quarter of the second-round playoff contest at Chase Center in San Francisco, Calif., Butler was defending Minnesota big man Naz Reid in the high post and managed to knock the ball away. But a beat later, referee Scott Foster blew his whistle to call a reach-in foul.

With the Warriors having lost Game 2 in a blowout, Kerr decided to push some new buttons. Trayce Jackson-Davis started for the Warriors at center (after Quinten Post got the start in Game 2). Additionally, Jonathan Kuminga received heavy run for Golden State off the bench.

The San Diego Padres and the Colorado Rockies met on Saturday at Coors Field in Denver, Colo. for the middle game of their weekend series. Durant is entering the final season of his contract next year at $54.7 million, making him easier to trade. As for the Heat, they were swept out of the first round this season but have a decent duo of 20-somethings in Tyler Herro and Bam Adebayo who could use a third veteran piece to complete the puzzle (essentially to fill the Jimmy Butler role).
