A longstanding, popular vegan cafe has suddenly shut its doors permanently after serving the community for 45 years. In a shock announcement posted across several social media platforms on Saturday morning, Sarah’s Sister’s Sustainable Cafe revealed it was “with a heavy heart” that they made the decision to close. A “hazardous fog” shrouded parts of Adelaide this morning, with drivers warned to take extra care on the roads. South Australia is set to be smashed with damaging winds of up to 100km/h on Friday with the Bureau of Meteorology issuing a severe weather warning. The warning has been sent out for most parts of the state, particularly for those in Mount Lofty Ranges, parts of the coastline and Kangaroo Island. The winds set to develop on Friday morning will bring “a vigorous southwesterly flow” which will persist through to Saturday morning, according to the BOM.
